Neither the original purchase price nor the current value of the vehicle affect your shipping rate. We consider dozens of factors when determining the cost of the car shipping.

Car shippers prefer cash and are willing to do the job for less if they are guaranteed to get payment at the time of completion without having to wait to be paid afterwards. Cash can be in the form of a Cashier’s Check or Money Order, any form of certified funds. If you choose to pay with a Cashier’s Check or Money Order, we’ll tell you whom it should be made out to.

Quick Car Shipping accepts credit cards for deposits. The remaining balance will be paid to the transport carrier upon delivery by cash, money order or cashier’s check

You owe nothing to the trucker at delivery if you pay the full car transportation cost with your credit card. But just in case you select the “Discounted Cash Price” option, you must be able to pay the trucker in Certified Funds or in Cash. Certified funds include Money Oder or Cashier Checks. Personal Check or Credit Cards are not part of the Certified Funds.

According to the Federal Law, a trucker needs to be paid in full for any services rendered. So yes, you must pay the trucker in full. If you don’t, he/she has the right to hold your vehicle legally, until you pay all applicable fees. Do not worry, we are here to help you. The total shipping cost of your vehicle depends on some factors, some of which include;

Pick-up and Delivery

The car shipping truck driver will provide you with their cell phone number, which will enable you to contact them at any time during transit. You can also call Quick Car Shipping Customer Service at any time and we will contact the driver on your behalf.

We recommend the client (or an authorized individual) to be present at the pick-up and at the delivery of the vehicle. The car shipping driver will inspect the vehicle for damages and provide a condition report for the client to sign at the pick-up and delivery. Being present enables the client to verify the car shipping driver’s accuracy of the vehicle condition report and prevent any discrepancy that may occur. If you’re the purchaser of the vehicle being transported, the only evidence of the original condition of the automobile is the documentation provided by the seller and acknowledged by the carrier driver. You should take the time to inspect the automobile for any damages that may have occurred during shipping.

We come to you! You do not have to drop your vehicle to our office or our locations. All you have to do is provide us with an address.

Yes, but you can designate a responsible individual to be present to pick-up or receive your vehicle. Just notify our representatives if you cannot be present. The chosen individual must be of legal age and provide a valid driver’s license to prove their identity. In the case that the chosen individual cannot provide their driver’s license, the vehicle will be taken to one of our storage facilities and an additional charge will be taken for the safe storage of your vehicle.

As far as in advance as possible. If your car needs to be picked-up and delivered within a certain specific time period, a month in advance will ensure that your car will arrive exactly on time. We advise our customers to schedule the vehicle transport at least 14 days in advance. The exception to this being that premium expedited service users will be met with their needs in a quick matter regardless of their scheduling time period.

Time of pick up and transit do vary. Some of the things that affect the time of shipping include; the pickup location, drop-off location and the company you choose.

The Bill of Lading serves as a legal document that specifies where a vehicle or cargo is being transported to; what kind of vehicle is being transported, and who is transporting the vehicle. It will also document the condition in which the vehicle is. It also serves as a contract and a receipt.

Ensure that your vehicle is in the right condition to be moved. Remove all accessories like car phones, stereo faceplates and GPS from your vehicle. Keep your vehicle’s battery fully charged. If you have made any kind of adjustment or your vehicle has a fault somewhere, kindly indicate. Make sure you deactivate every anti-theft device in your vehicle. Remove all non-permanent things like luggage, bicycle, etc. Remove all loose parts attached to your vehicle.

Claim & Insurance

No. It is recommended but not required. Your vehicle will be insured by the Truckers cargo and liability policies as well as Quick Car Shipping’s “Contingent Cargo Insurance” which protects you for up to $250,000 if the truckers policy fail to fully cover a valid claim.

Personal items inside the car are not covered by the carrier’s cargo insurance.

Damages during vehicle transportation are rare but that does not mean it can’t happen. If any kind of damage should occur during the shipping process, the shipping company will work with you on how to reimburse you for any kind of damage done to your vehicle.

In the extremely unlikely chance that you find that your car’s condition is any different than when you transported it. Please make a damage claim. Not only are we carrying insurance that covers the book value of your vehicle, damage claims are treated with the utmost seriousness that they deserve, and reimbursement of your vehicle’s damage will be swiftly provided.

Yes, we transport many cars each week from salvage auctions and other types of auto auctions. Each auction will have different requirements to release a vehicle and we’ll get all the necessary details from you at the time of booking. Please make sure the vehicle is fully paid and ready for release from the auction. Also please note that if a vehicle is booked as operable but it turns out the vehicle is inoperable there will be additional cost and the original trucker may not be able to accommodate an inoperable vehicle.

We cannot fulfill the entire shipment to or from and international destination but we can take it to or from a US Port.

Most car shipping carriers are “double – deckers ,“ so top load means your car will be loaded on the top deck. To guarantee this, there is an extra $75 (on average). Top load prevents possible fluid leaks from the vehicle above yours. Also, there is less chance for small rock chips. This is an optional service. Your car may end up on the top level for the regular price (no extra charge) without request, but it is not guaranteed. Please note: A trailer with a single deck is still considered top load as it guarantees there will be no car above yours.

Then you will have to ask our representatives for additional storage and we can give you the accommodation for a small fee.
